Last Words Spoken By Criminals Before Execution
The last words spoken by criminals before execution stand as the final statements from these convicted offenders, having been uttered moments before their deaths. Much like the statements made by famous people in their suicide notes, these are the famous last words before execution that others will remember these souls by for eternity.

Many of these convicted criminals acted similarly in their famous last words as they did in life. Some joked around with the press and other bystanders, others proclaimed their innocence for the hundredth time, and certain individuals added standard goodbyes as they told their mothers they loved them.

Whatever the words used, and whatever the manner of execution, these famous last words spoken by criminals remain as the final memories of these offenders.

Karla Faye Tucker Brown
"I am going to be face to face with Jesus now... I love you all very much. I will see you all when you get there... I will wait for you."

--Executed by injection in 1998. She pleaded guilty to the charge of murder in 1983. She was participating in a burglary gone wrong.

A RANKER USER SAID: "Look at the eyes on Karla Faye Tucker Brown they just have a deep almost empty look to them. She has almost dead shark like eyes and i can only imagine how disturbed of a person she really was. She just looks like a person you would see as a patient in a mental hospital and just by looking at her i can fully imagine her committing murder." (join the discussion)

Erskine Childers
"Take a step forward, lads. It will be easier that way."

--Executed by firing squad after be found guilty of illegally possessing a semi-automatic pistol.

A RANKER USER SAID: "Wow talk about a hard core guy not scared of dying. Erskine Childers when facing the firing squad said 'Take a step forward, lads. It will be easier that way.' Death by firing squad being in illegal possession of an automatic pistol. Seems kind of harsh for something today that would be a stiff fine and at worse a fine and some community service unless previously convicted." (join the discussion)

John Cockrum
"I would like to apologize to the victim’s family for all of the pain I have caused them. I would like to tell my family I love them and I hope to see them again soon. Lord Jesus, thank you for giving me the strength and the time in my life to find Jesus Christ and to be forgiven for all of my sins. Thank you for the changes in my life you have given me, the love and closeness of my family, and my beautiful daughter. Thank you for using me."

--Executed by injection after be found guilty of murdering 69-year-old shop owner Eva May in 1986.

A RANKER USER SAID: "Look to religion to make everything ok! What a joke." (join the discussion)

George Appel
"Well, gentlemen, you are about to see a baked Appel"

--Executed by electric chair in the 1920s after he was involved in an incident in New York City in which a police officer ended up dead.

A RANKER USER SAID: "Many people see the electric chair to be an overly cruel form of execution but when you read quotes like this from people like Appel it makes me reconsider that argument. This man seemingly had no remorse what so ever for taking that police officers life and his remark 'Well, gentlemen, you are about to see a baked Appel' is what a joke by a man taking his last breaths because of a dreadful crime." Madame du Barry
"You are going to hurt me, please don't hurt me, just one more moment, I beg you!"

--Guillotined after being convicted of treason by the Revolutionary Tribunal of Paris. She was suspected of financially aiding people who fled the French Revolution.

Francis Two Gun Crowley
"You sons of bitches. Give my love to Mother."

--Executed in electric chair after being found guilty of the murder of a New York police officer in 1931.

A RANKER USER SAID: "Man this kid was one sick puppy there is no doubt about it. He looks so young in that picture to be such a hardened criminal responsible for all of those crimes including murdering someone. I guess when you get a nickname like "two guns" that early on in life it can be somewhat of an inicator as to their mentality. It was those same guns that were the cause of his demise."

Bennie Demps
"They butchered me back there, I was in a lot of pain. They cut me in the groin; they cut me in the leg. I was bleeding profusely. This is not an execution, it is murder."

A RANKER USER SAID: "Anyone else thinks this was a little brutal?" (join the discussion)

"I'm going home, babe."

--Executed by injection after he raped and sodomized a woman and killed her male roommate by slitting his throat. Allen was a savage career criminal.

A RANKER USER SAID: "Well guys as off as Childers and Appel may seem to be not sure they hold a candle to this guy. James Allen Red Dog before being killed by lethal injection said "I'm going home, babe." Now that dude is one sick puppy. Not to mention that he was getting killed by lethal injection because he raped and sodomized a poor woman and then slit her roommate's throat. It's just so cruel i can't imagine and he thinks them killing him is sending him home almost like he happy to be going to where ever he went hopefully hell." (join the discussion)
